About Me
Hello! My name is Jinwoo Park, and I hold a Ph.D. in Robotics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I was advised by Dr. Seth Hutchinson. I was also an honorary member of STAR Lab at Georgia Tech, directed by Dr. Harish Ravichandar.
My research focuses on heterogeneous multi-robot systems, with particular interests in task allocation, scheduling, and motion planning. I am especially motivated by problems that bridge rigorous optimization with real-world robotic execution.
Beyond academia, I am a roboticist and aerospace engineer with hands-on industry experience, having contributed to the development of autonomous UAV systems at a drone startup. I enjoy working across disciplines and am a fast learner who thrives in technically demanding environments.
I hold an M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, an M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, and a B.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan (summa cum laude).
Outside of work, I am an aviation enthusiast and licensed private pilot, and I enjoy flight and sim racing in my free time.
I am currently open to new opportunities—please feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect or collaborate.
